Hey folks, new to this forum but here goes - can anyone tell me which tabs you have to press to enable both pipes to be removed from the top of the fuel filter (as in post #17 & 19 above)???????
I tried to replace the filter today but couldn't see how to remove the pipes - all I could see was a black plastic hex thingy with 2 white dots either side!!!!!!!!
Please help as don't want to put car into dealer yet.
    Thanks.

What car do you have - Megane II or III, Laguna II or III. If you have the Megane II, the filter is different than the Megane III.

Is this what you saw. It is listed for Megane II

Not sure why this thread was split from the main thread given that the OP is referring to pictures in the main thread. Anyhow, sorry, I'm not familiar with the Scenic. I would have though that the Scenic III fuel filter setup would be similar/to the same as the Megane III but maybe not.

The fuel filter is obviously a service item - the pipes should come off fairly easily but there may be some "weird" clips holding them in place which confuse things.

Perhaps you could post some pics of your own or someone else might chip in with their thoughts
