Replace bath with shower

I have a small 3 bed semi. There is one bathroom with a bath with a shower in it. After years of climbing into the bath to have a shower I have decided to get rid of the bath and install the shower. I have many questions...

From other threads the consensus seems to be to put in the shower tray first and then tile up to it.

There are two pipes teeing off the bath cold water tap side. Am I right to assume that these are going to the sink and toilet?

There are two pipes teeing off the bath hot water tap side. Am I right to assume that these are going to the sink and radiator (.... not sure about radiator one)?

There is currently a modest amount of pressure when using the shower above the bath. Where does this pressure come from? The tank height is lower than the shower height and there is no pump so I don't see where the pressure is coming from. Maybe there is back pressure from the cold water supply to the tank? Would a pump need to be installed to run a "rain shower" type of shower?

When removing wall tiles can the plastered plasterboard wall be retained or is it easier to remove the lot?

The original floor tiles are still on the market. If I put these down will there be any difference between new and the 10 year old?

It wouldn't be the radiator coming off the hot tap anyway, possibly the kitchen tap? Ours comes from the bathroom as its directly above the kitchen

Yes, tray install first, always. Then tile.
The 2 tees I would have thought were going to the wash hand basin and the shower H & C, definitely not the rads. Separate system.
Pressure comes from the tank in the attic, which is higher than your shower. Cold water enters the immersion tank on the bottom, and hot water is forced out the top of the tank to your hot taps. Cold is directly from the attic tank.
The plasterboard will usually fall apart when removing old tiles. Best to replace.
Tiles should be a match, assuming current ones have not discoloured.

Does anybody know where in Ireland I can get a 25mm Diameter Diamond Coated Drill Bit Ceramic Glass Hole Saw?

Have you tried screwfix.ie? No connection with them, by the way.

Yeah, I tried ScrewFix but they don't seem to have one. There is one on Radionics for €68 (too expensive) and Amazon/Ebay for €10 but I'd prefer to walk into a hardware store and buy one.
