id like to try fix this myself if possible. My battery seems to be draining down really quickly once the engine is turned off. Battery sign appears and radio turns off after 30 secs. Its an 08 bmw 318d with 97k miles on it. More recently the time clock resets itself to zero and brake service warning comes up. My brakes are fine. brought it to a motor shop and lad tested battery and said it was fine.....any other ideas on what it could be appreciated.?
    Cheers

Does car start every time on the button? If so it's not the battery, probably a bad/loose wiring.
Did you have work done on anything electrical recently?

A bad earth can cause havoc with the electricals.
Do you know how to check for a bad earth?

If not try a local auto electrician.
