The brother put in his Olympus Vr-310 and said you have a update for the firmware. Went through with it and now the lens comes out a bit stops, the Olympus sign comes up and then the screen goes back, if you plug into a pc the lenses goes back in and connects to pc. He went to the local camera shop and was told the motor…

He went to the local camera shop and was told the motor is gone (which it isn’t) and the usual you have it x years, cheaper to buy another speech.

Anyone any ideas how to unbrick the camera?
