I am looking for some advice on a VW/VV/VT Mod, I would like a Tube Mod, but looking into it the Dicodes seem to be the way to go and they are fairly expensive, can anyone recommend a good bang for buck box with VW/VV/VT that I can have a mess with before lashing out on a 2380T.

    Tnx a mil,

    Inq

Edit: The VT part being the part I want to have a mess with on some nickel / Ti coils.

Dicodes is expensive but build quality is stunning. I had the previous model without temp control

Isn't there an eGo one now that does VT? Not sure of the details though.

How about the eVic VTC Mini? They are $37.32 on FT and after using the 10% (code=XMAS) discount it's $33.59, so around 30 or so euro.

Not tried TC myself even though I have a TC iStick - just not that bothered at the moment.

    Because it's a rebranded Dicodes

if you want something EGO style with TC there's these:

I ordered one just to see what they're like so will post a small review when I get it, only thing is that I haven't found anywhere to buy the coils but other coils might fit so will wait and see until I get it

    there's a mega version as well, 19mm and 4ml instead of 16.5mm and 2.5ml

    I am down to Dicodes 2380 v VaporShark DNA200

    Help me decide

Dicodes - Like the form factor, the quality and the features. - Don't like lack of presets and ballache of a one button menu, even if aesthetically its nice

VaporShark - Like the presets, features, PC configurability, and ease and speed of charging - Don't like the form factor

    Any other recommendations to consider.

Dicodes and just learn how to work it I say, I only have the very first version and even if I don't use it much I'm still keeping it because it's so pretty and oozes quality

Had both a Dicodes and vaporshark. Both great but have to still vote dicodes for build and look.

I went with a Dicodes 2380 in the end, got it today, very happy with it so far, built my first coils too. The single button menu isn't as bad as some reviewers made out, it takes a bit of getting used to navigating, but after 10 mins that becomes second nature and most of the menu screens are fairly intuitive.

Just need to get better at coiling this Nickel! Currently using a Triton with Triton Ni200 coil, 40W, 230C, very smooth vape, I have 2 x 18490's in it at the moment and its a bit of a lightsaber, god knows what it would be like with 2 x 18650's. Alot more discrete with 1 x 18490 mind. Workmanship is excellent, real quality item, very happy with the purchase.

That's a beautiful mod, very tempted by it tbh, the vtc mini is my favourite mod at the moment but boy do I miss using a tube mod every day.
What did it set you back?
