    Hi guys,

I am not sure if this is in the right spot, I apologize if it isn't.

I have been in and out of different GP practices and hospital for the last couple of months, and I am still searching for a proper one. I cannot seem to find any reliable experiences online, so I am wondering if any of you has any specific GP to recommend (or maybe any that I should absolutely NOT go to?)

I find it important that the doctor listens to what I have to say, I find it hard enough to talk about my symptoms as I have a lot of them and it soon starts to sound like I am just overreacting on every little pain I have anywhere in my body.

I was with [modsnip] before and they were pretty good but completely ignored the high white blood cell count I had so I wanted a second opinion, for which I went to [modsnip], which I personally think is a complete rip off.

They did not listen to what I had to say, and only told me halfway through taking my bloods that there would be an extra charge. I am not stingy when it comes to my health but that was just unprofessional. Besides this most of my blood ended up on the table and my sleeve, which I found shocking, as I have literally never had any issues getting bloods done, and then the flow for some reason stopped (I mean I can't blame my arm for that after being treated like that), and next I was asked to bend my elbow with a bit of gauze to stop the initial bleeding, and the plaster was put on it vertically so that if I bend my elbow the plaster would raise up and be of no use???

If they do not find anything in my bloods I shall be looking for a new doctor again, as I refuse to pay 60-90 euro for each such visit, I have already paid a fortune in doctor's costs and nothing has been found, but most disappointingly no kind of effort has been made to look into it. It seems they all do it off as "it's all in your head", which yeah, the headaches probably are, but I am not imagining my other symptoms..

Hence this topic, does any of you have any GP they can recommend in Dublin? Someone who actually takes their time and tries to find out what's wrong instead of rushing and then letting you make another appointment for taking blood pressure, or something stupid like that :)

    Cheers!

    Mode note:

Please read the charter, I'm afraid reviews/recommendations of medical professionals are not allowed.
