While playing the 5th hole on Sat I found a newbridge silver golf ball.

    scroll under the umbrella :)

Well on the 18th I finally lost the loyal original ball I started with (Callaway 2)

I had this silver ball in my pocket and decided to see how it went.

The 18th is over water at Woodenbridge so I was a little worried but I hit a nice one and got a 8 and no points.

I wonder if the ball conforms? and anyone else ever play with a silver plated golf ball before? :)

The Royal Curragh used to have a series of Opens sponsored by Newbridge. They would "hide" those silver balls out on the course and if you found one you got entered in a draw/prize or something afaik.

No idea if they're conforming or not.
