    Hi,
I'm buying a second hand ipod for a Christmas present and it's a ipod classic. I was just wondering should I ask the seller to reset it? And are there certain details I need for setting it up on a pc to access iTunes etc??
Anything else I need to know about?

If it’s an iPod Classic that shouldn’t be necessary. Their security features were pretty limited. Just a code which most people never used and could be reset easily enough.
