Great price but I'm not sure about the 3.5 hour battery life

Picked one up yesterday as a Christmas gift so can't open it to provide a review. I expect it to remain in a sitting room used only for FB and looking at cat videos on YouTube so even if the battery life is that poor it shouldn't be an issue.

Got herself a 7" quadcore tablet on amazon for around £30 last xmas & she hardly ever uses the laptop since, she's spent the last week watching Downton abbey series 1 through 5 on it :(:)
The add indicated a UK seller but it came from China, customs didn't grab it either.

None left in any of my local stores.

    Are they likely to restock?

battery life is very weak at 3.5 hr and that's the stated life - will probably be lower than that in reality.
So it's ok if it will mainly be used in a setting where it can be plugged in but even then most tablets can't charge as quickly as the power is drained.
Argos have lenovo a7, a8 tablets for 20, 40 euro more that have good battery life....

Purchased this today for €69 from argos. First impressions very happy so far. Took about 3 hours to fully charge. Sound, tinny and not very loud and would need earphones if watching movie. Inserted my sd card.
Watched a movie and about 45 minutes you tube and 30 minutes browsing and still showing 61%. Total just under 3 hours use so far. Using battery saver setting. Estimated battery saying 4 hours remaining which I don't understand when the specs are saying 3.5hour oh well my luck.

Seems fast and glitch free but i'm no techie, but I am happy with purchase.

Not a bad bit of kit for the price - decent reviews too - certainly ok for a 12 yearl old!
