105 shifting problem

Just picked up a second hand Cube with 105 5800 groupset. The front derailleur needed adjusting as the chain was rubbing. Brought it to a LBS to sort it out and shifts are great now and no Chain rub bit I have noticed one thing - when in the small ring up front if I try to downshift again or downshift hard from the big ring to small ring, the derailleur moves over more than it should and the Chain rubs.

If I just tap to upshift very slightly its like the derailleur goes back into its normal position and its fine. It didn't do this before I brought it to the LBS...

The mech is working as it should, shimano 11 speed systems have 4 front mech positions. low/low trim ; high/high trim. You will find that the front mech will not work without rubbing over the whole rear cassette range without trimming slightly.
You tend to get used to it. For more read here

Thanks for the tip. I got a new bike with Ultegra 11's and I'm having a hard time getting the front derailleur 100%. Must try this method.
