    Hi there,

Wasn't too sure where to post this. I'm travelling from Sweden to Dublin via Oslo Norway, and I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can get duty free? If I can is it in Sweden since my destination is Oslo or is it in Oslo to Dublin? I've tried to look online and other message boards, but the answers were all conflicting so I've no idea who's right? Does anyone have experience of this at all?

Please and thanks for any info ^_^

If you were eligible for duty free, it would be in Oslo. But honestly, you wont get any value there. Its Mighty expensive that airport.

Not really the prices are duty free are reasonable. Tax in norway is very high so the prices are generally high due to tax. I found the duty free prices in Norway to be almost the same as Gatwick or Dublin.

Here's the rules for what you can bring into Ireland per person.
    Goods

    Maximum quantity allowed

    Cigarettes
    Cigarillos
    Cigars
    Tobacco

    200 or
    100 or
    50 or
    250 grammes

    Spirits (whiskey, vodka, gin, etc.)
Intermediate Products (e.g. sherry, port, sparkling wine, etc.)

    1 litre or
    2 litres

    Still wine

    4 litres

    Beer

    16 litres

Other goods (e.g. gifts, souvenirs, perfume, clothing, etc.)

    €430 per adult
€215 per child under 15 years

I never noticed any value there. Only been through airport a couple of times (and ripped off for food!)

Food prices in Norway are a shocker Smokes and booze i got cheap in the duty free the rest were expensive.

Food in any airport is usually expensive add in Scandinavian prices and Norwegian taxes on it and it becomes an outrage.

You will be able to get it in Sweden at the departure airport for your flight to Norway and you will also be able to get it in Oslo airport for your flight to Dublin. You will be subject to the allowances as mentioned above on entry to Ireland.
