Hopefully someone here could maybe help me....On an internal door the door latch is no longer working and im trying to remove door handles too see what the problem is. The handles are an 'ES' Type I believe Euro Spec with a rose faceplate with no visible screws. Underneath the handles I found a small nut and removed with a allen key. I thought the handle would simply pull off but it is not. I have tried knocking / tapping with hammer etc but it seems to be fixed..can anyone offer any advise...all appreciated.

Have you tried unscrewing the faceplate?

The plate should twist off anti clockwise , remove the screws in to the door then remove the grub screws on the underside.

    Is it this one
    https://www.alldoorhandles.com/Eurospec-CSL1193-SSS-and-BSS-Curved-Lever-Door-Handle-on-Round-Rose.html

    It says
Fully Sprung Lever Door Handle with Push on Rose

Maybe if you stuck something like a pick into the hole at the bottom, the washer-type plate that seems to be sitting in there will come out revealing the screws
I would have thought it'd just unscrew though. Use a rubber glove to get more grip. Or try some of your other doors to see if this is how they come off.

The circular collar on those just unscrews to reveal mounting screws underneath.

Yes the circular peice will twist off counter clock wise. If you have a vicegrips and a cloth maybe try it that way to get a start on it. Hope you get it off.
