Jessica Jones just arrived. I've watched the first 4 and it's great

For comedy, nothing beats It's Always Sunny in philidelphia

There's an online TV forum which might offer some help:

    http://touch.boards.ie/forum/1649

Or a Netflix recommendation thread on film forum which also covers TV shows:

Any of the Scandinavian TV thrillers and Fargo Season 2, which is on French Neflix, also all seven seasons of Mad Men is on US Netflix, probably the best TV series ever.

Don't think second part of final season of mad men is on america netflix?

Deadwood - three seasons on French Netflix. Just watched the last episode tonight, good stuff, nice complexity woven into the Western context. Characters well developed, most of them actual historical figures, cleverly fictionalised.

Now what to tackle next? I still haven't watched Game of Thrones yet, its not on the English/American Netflix..

    No.

It's HBO so generally not on Netflix.

Sky has all the HBO content bar some co-productions.

The most boring first episode of anything I've ever seen. Definitely will not be watching it.

You'll be making a massive mistake. You can't expect everything to happen in the first episode, it's setting the scene for the greatness to come.

Unless you want lots of booms and bangs, then it's not the show for you.

    Exactly.

HBO doesn't exist as a channel in the uk/ireland. Sky have the rights to their stuff.

    Netflix don't

Definitely the best comedy in recent times.

The thick of it is also excellent.
