HND to Multimedia year 2

    Has anybody got any information on higher education access routes, im doing a fetac 5 currently in Ballyfermot and i wish to go to DCU to do multimedia but its quite competitive and i have the backup of doing a btec level 6 HND and transfer over into year 2. I was at the open day and nobody in the admissions, registration or Martin Moloney himself could give me some definite information, everyone was quite vague. Has anyone gone/known anyone who went the HND route?
