I know it's 30 euro more than your budget, but the Sonos Play:1 are fantastic.

You might be able to get it on sale. I got a pair from DID a while back at 190 each.

I did a quick check and everywhere I looked were the same price at the moment. Might just have to shop around some more.

Yeah installed 3 for one of my customers. 2 in the cafe downstairs and 1 in the bar upstairs. The difference between 2 and 1 isn't that noticeable. The only reason for the 2 was to cover the larger area. The volume on them is extremely loud at full though.

I've a Soundblaster Roar. Loud and good bass/treble balance. Bluetooth works for miles; walk 2 floors upstairs with the phone and it still is pumping out sound.

There is a MK2 version out. No difference in the actual hardware; same speakers are inside the casing. I didn't bother with the extra 40 euro price. I got mine from creative for 150 euro.

    It's consistently got decent reviews.

A friend has a UE Megaboom and to be honest, I cant hear the difference. The megaboom has a IPX waterproof rating though. It's not worth the extra cash I thought as mine lives indoors.
