3 year old rads which I noticed were not as hot as they used to be. I'm afraid to touch it in case I make an arse of it! I'm guessing the smaller of the two fittings is the one to loosen? Can anyone advise? Ta.

It's the square fitting with the slot in it
Either use a radiator key or a flat screwdriver open vent slightly until water comes out then close
If your heating system is s sealed one if you vent radiators you probly will have to top up the water in the heating system

Thanks! I thought air might have come out but I got water straight away. At least I know how to do it now!
