What generally do you retire a dog at? I know it probably varies from dog to dog.

I have a cocker spaniel 13 years old - still hunting strong and will not pass a bird.

She will only last about two hours hunting now in a day but thoroughly enjoys it.

She'll be a bit a stiff during the week if out on both Saturday & Sunday.

when the dog is not fit for fulldays give him half days and then it will be a hour or so you will know yourself every dog differs .
