Chimney smoking

    Hi All,
    I really need help!
I live in a bungalow with back to back chimneys in kitchen and sitting room. I have a multi fuel stove in the kitchen and an open fireplace with no back boiler in the sitting room.
My problem only arises on calm days when there's No Wind.
When we light the stove in the kitchen, smoke gets sucked back down the sitting room flue. I have tried cracking a window and it did seem to help so I drilled a 4" hole in the wall opposite the flue and put vents and wavin up.
The first time I lit the first, the smoke problem reappeared. Is the a cowl or some other type of product that can help me with this?
Also, the chimney pots are different heights. The stove pot is lower than the fireplace pot. Problem Never Happens if there's even the slightest breeze.
    Thanks in advance.
