Hi folks quick question, I parked the car and didn't cop on it was a loading bay, was gone for no more than 5 minutes but the COCouncil warden had issued me with a ticket but I noticed the reg on the ticket is 121 but my car is 131 although Il hold my hands up and I'm willing to pay it but I'm just wondering is the ticket void if the reg on the ticket is wrong ?
I don't have time to be taking off work to go to court to appeal it but I'm wondering is it worth chancing it with the council office ?

If it's not your registration then that's their problem not yours, they should have done their job correctly.

Thanks for the feedback folks, I'm just concerned about rocking the boat with them.as I said it's my bad for parking there but i can't help feel a little aggrieved as another car was parked in front of me with the driver inside it and he never ticketed him. As far as I know they photograph the car and the reg

A lad one work was done recently in Dun Laoghaire.

They had the wrong street on it. He appealed and got away with it.

I'd imagine it would be the owner of the 121 reg who will have to appeal it when they get a reminder of the ticket or a summons.

There aren't any 121 reg cars. The 1 and 2 only came into effect in 2013.

Do nothing OP unless u get something in the post. That's probably what I'd do. Tickets can get blown off windscreens.
