i was talking to my planner yestarday & she informed me that there are more changes to this tranche than the first eg

the LIPP parcel that i have selected was over 6ha - system won't allow this without spltiting the parcel as the max allowed is 5HA

if i split the parcel i then can't do any coppicing on this parcel(which happens to be the only coppicing i can do)

there is something similar for low status water

this is on top of hedgerow planting & orchards being scrapped from Tranche 1

Looks like the majority who got in on the first round picked up all the easier measures - good luck to them

the brains behind the scheme didn't think of putting in a quota for reach measure similar to the THM & LIPP limit.

if these adjustments in the system for this round stay in place then a lot of people myself included won't be able to get the max benifit financially from the scheme

Maybe this is all part of the plan

    Rant over:mad:

I think you might be wrong with the size of parcel for LIPP. The whole parcel can be used but you will only get paid on 5 ha but the parcel can be bigger according to my planner.

I split a 20 ha block so that I could use 10 ha for LIPP but now I will only get paid on 5 ha and you have to treat it all as LIPP.

THM can still be 10 ha though.

need to check with her again as that could be done on first tranche but as of yestarday she says this is no longer the case
