An amd e1 laptop must be at least 5 years old by now?? Definitely not a bargain at any price.

Wouldn't be surprised. Usually find the Argos 'bargains' hit and miss, with more misses that hits. Don't really know anything about the quality of the products. I just had the list handy and posted it in case it's any use to anybody. Always do the research before buying.

What is the point in this sale at all??

Looking at toys now on 3 for 2 and nearly all the toys are out of stock!!

Why do they advertise these and then have NO store with them in stock. What a pointless thing.

Agree with Allibastor - when the sale was on a few weeks back, i went in to get a few things but all were out of stock & not back in for 3-4 weeks, it is easy to have a 3 for 2 sale, when you have nothing to sell, only things that can't sell in their normal markets !

In store,they have a Christmas Gift Catalogue,ignore the prices in it as they are all inflated.The prices on the site don't match them at all and in fact many are cheaper than the likes of Smyths.

I have actually noticed that this week also, prices that are "discounted" saying they were on sale at a higher price before, but they werent!!!

I noticed that with fallout 4 last week, when it came out it went right for sale s at 55.99 for a few days, then went up to 63.99, but said it was on sale for 69.99?
It never got that price, and to be fair is sold out in EVERY shop.

I think argos have lost a lot of steam over the last few years with stock, I know they have 1000's of stuff, but why keep such a wide variety and then always be out of stock!

The Argos 3for2 has always annoyed me as they never had anything I wanted in stock and prices for stuff I wanted went up but I was on the website this morning at 7 and they had what I wanted and were cheaper then Smyths.
I have noticed a few Lego sets seem to be higher then I remember when I was price checking earlier in the week.
