Legal Executive - IILEX

I have more than 10 years' experience working in different firms as a legal secretary/law clerk, although my duties have, especially in more recent times, been more than what a legal secretary should be doing, such as attending on clients, drafting documents, running files after initial attendance with solicitor through to completion etc. I'm looking into registering with IILEX as a Legal Executive, for my own reasons, and was just wondering if it's worthwhile registering with them, paying them an annual subscription etc. I am not intending to do the diploma course with Griffith College for financial and geographical reasons and my registration, if I go ahead with it, would be based on work experience. Has anyone here done this? Any thoughts, tips, practical advice? Thanks in advance.
