I've been using Irish webtexts for a while now, not to fond of it. So I came across swiftsms and tried to give it a go. Installed just fine but wouldn't verify my account. So then I tried to login into my account in a 2nd phone using Irish webtexts, same deal, no verification for account.
I have checked that my login details are correct.

It may have gone the way of Cabbage (another great wee webtext app program). The network may have blocked access by third party apps... I think.

I have SwiftSMS - just installed it on my new phone. But because it runs Android Lollipop, the sent messages don't get written to the messaging app. It seems to send OK though, so if you can do without a record of your sent message, it does the job. I'll use it travelling, but that's all.

It should be possible to get SWIFTSMS to store outgoing messages.
