It must be hard alright to find a nice doll, just a reg doll. I dont have kids or anything but I love toys and must say those dolls are rather minging looking.. Where are you based? Pinochios might have something they are in Cork or some of the smaller toy shops

I don't have to shop for girls I'm afraid but this name keeps popping up on my news feed. Apparently parents are raving about it because she is age appropriate and doesn't wear make up etc. Think its lottie dolls ?

I saw this after seeing a post too and they don't look great either, still a little ick.. Popped into smyths at the weekend and jes the dolls have gone down hill but they did have one little baby doll you get it in some plastic bowl with a mini version of the doll and they had cute enough rag doll.. Those big dolls you get in Argos aren't bad

If you are getting one of the our generations dolls from smyths they have a few outfits for that doll on offer at 9.99 for black Friday sales ! :)

I don't know if you can get them here (but you probably can online) Simba Toys' Evi Love (Steffi Love's - a Barbie like fashion doll - little sister)

I think maybe she was around for a while or in Lidl or something but you can get a few sets that are just brush hair.

A nice one from the UK site is the Styling Head

Not sure where it would be stocked if you can't buy direct from the websites.

In passing in the past down the years I've seen more kind of ordinary brush hair type dolls in poundshops and in supermarkets and department stores than what you'd generally see advertised or in Symths.

Design a friend dolls (argos definitely have them). Decent size, can do the hair and can also get outfits for them. Pleasant enough dolls all things considered.

Probably too late for you now, but might be useful for someone else. These dolls are made in Ireland and 'normal' unlike Barbies etc. Big selection too from a quick look at the website.
