Seen this yesterday and I headed m50 northbound. A rubbish truck was up on a transporter to be removed at the southbound exit. Windscreen was wrecked. Apparently someone 'fell' from the bridge at J6. One radio station mentioned possible suicide yesterday evening. Obviously, the roads remained closed for some time with the predictable traffic chaos resulting.. RIP for the 2nd time this week.

The traffic impact of this is being well covered on the Commuting and Transport thread. A desperately sad event if true.

I think as the local forum we should acknowledge this person and the terrible circumstances as a sad event in our community.

I know it happens in different ways every day, but if anyone is feeling beyond hope at the moment, or knows someone who may be vulnerable, there is assistance.

Also spare a thought for the truck driver. It will take him a long time to get over this.

The man that died? Was he not a homeless man that had travelled from a different country?
