I was just sent my payslip there by my employer. I was overpaid and let her know immediately. Our payslips are sent via Thesaurus software each Wednesday and we are paid into our accounts Friday.

Will the overpaid amount be deducted Friday or next week?
She told me I'll have to make it stretch so I'm assuming next week? Not sure how Thesaurus works. Cheers!

Probably next week, unless they can make the correction very quickly tomorrow. Just don't spend the extra money, and you'll be fine.

Thesaurus have nothing to do with it. It depends whether the employer chooses to correct the error before uploading the file/payments on their online banking system ... it's not as though Thesaurus are able to access this information.

I assume when you're sent your payslips on Wednesdays, they're all internally signed off and the banking file (or payments) prepared at that stage to go through Thursday and to be in your account Friday. So I wouldn't expect the deduction to be made until next week.

It'll be next week, I imagine payroll is finalised and sent to the bank by the time the payslips are finalised and sent.
