Insulating Interior Wall

Hi Own a small 2up 2 down terrace house. Is it possible to insulate one interior wall (bedroom) to block the noise thats coming from next door?? Will it actually make a difference? Appreicate it will take a few inches off the room size but it would be sooo worth it! thanks in advance
