Get Rid Of Odors

    So not sure if this is the correct area for this, but I need to get rid of a smell in my house, Ive spilt cod liver oil on a carpet where I live and now the house smells of fish, how do I get rid of this

    Perhaps look at renting out a Rug Doctor from Woodies for a day.
    I've used this in the past to remove engine oil from beige carpets, which would have been nearly impossible otherwise.

    While you are there check out some of the other odour removal sprays to use along with it.

    A good few goes with the Rug Doctor though should help.

    Plus you can clean the rest of your carpets for Xmas while you're at it.

    Bread soda poured on the site of the spillage may remove/reduce the odour, but won't get rid of the stain. Probably not a long-term solution to have a pile of white powder on the carpet, but it may neutralise the smell if left on it for a few days.
