Advice on wireless modem replacement

    Hi all, thanks in advance for anyone who can help me on this.
    I currently don't have fibre, I have DSL broadband with eircom (with the splitter to take the signal from the wall and split between phone and modem). I hope to have Fibre in the next year.
    I am looking to replace my standard Zyxel P660HHN-T1A (it is dying) with a new one.
    The new one should be able to support DSL but also be able for Fibre when it comes to my house.
    I like the TP-LINK Archer products (D7 is the one I am looking at) as they have the Tether App which is exactly what I need in my house (teenagers!!) and I already have a TP_LINK range extender set.

    Any ideas or comments?
