Super dogs I've shot pheasant, woodcock, duck, and tracked deer with them.two of my mates have them and there a super dog with a good temperament. They had friends in Germany and that's how they came on them.there very strict on there breeding in Germany and it can be very hard to purchase a dog over there from working lines.if dogs don't meet the standards there not allowed breed them.as far as I'm aware there's only 7 or eight of these dogs working in ireland.don't know if there breeding the dogs any time soon.stay away from show breeds.also I don't think the Irish kennel club recognise the breed yet

you will prob have to go to England for one.If your go the German route to get him passed you will have to travel to Germany i think 3 times for testing. if you want to get his papers he has to complete testing with no faults.

    Cheers for the replies lads.
Im just chatting to a breeder in Poland at the minute about an upcoming litter. Would it be the same importing from Poland as Germany?
not that pushed on papers as long as I get one from good working stock.
