Swinford Win Pride of Place 2015

    Swinford in Co Mayo won first prize in the "Urban Neighbourhood" category, in the Annual Pride of Place Awards ceremony which was held in Ennis Co Clare on Saturday night. Cabinteely from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown in Co Dublin and Mayfield/Glengormaley Newtownabbey in Co Antrim who were both runners up in the category.

    This is the second year now that Swinford has been entered into the Pride of Place competition. Last year they were entered in the 1500 to 2000 population category.
