Cube Peloton Sizing

    Hi all

Looking at a Cube Peloton Race 2015 second hand and have a few questions. My current bike is a Felt F85 54cm frame, the Cube I'm looking at is a 53cm, as far as I know next size up is a 56cm?

I've heard Cube frames are slightly smaller than other bikes, is there any truth to this? I'm 5ft 9 with 31" leg.

Is there a chance the 53cm would be too small for me?

    I have a 54 Felt and a 56 Cube with a 80mm stem . I am 172cm high.

I have a 53 cube peloton and i'm 5'7 but it could definitely stretch to at least another couple of inches, imo. I'd say you'd be grand.
There's an older thread about cube sizing somewhere in the forum.

    I'm 5'8" and have a 56 Cube Peleton.
Tbh, I've always felt it was a tad big. I even went back to my LBS with it where they set it up etc for me, and they insisted it was perfect for my height.
Both your posts would back up what the shop told me.
I'm considering flipping the stem tho.

Got a bike fit done and they told me that the 80mm stem was needed.

5'8 (and a bit!) here and I'm also riding a 53cm peloton race. It feels perfect to me but I can't really compare it to anything as its my first road bike. Definitely couldn't see myself being comfortable on the next size up.

A 53 cube peleton has an effective top tube of 53.5 so is close to a 54.
You'd be better off with the 53 and a long stem than a 56 and a short one.
Don't worry about inside leg...saddle can go up and down it's the reach that's not so easily adjustable.

Thanks for all the replies! Had a look at the bike today and once I raised the saddle and stem it fit nicely. A very nice bike alright, very light. 105 seems much smoother than my current bike which has 10spd Tiagra
