    Howdy,

    Thought this would make and interesting and helpful thread. I've a road trip coming up this weekend. Feel free to give advice on the courses, grub, pubs...

    We're staying in the Ballyliffin Town House for 2 nights.

    Friday - Ballyliffin (Glashedy)- E30 Open
    Leaving Dublin at 6am, teeing off at 12. Watch the rugby/PGA in some pub then grub in Nancy's Barn. Grab-a-granny if we're lucky

    Saturday - Ballyliffin Old - E40
    Teeing off at 9:30. Only line available and I booked 2 months ago. Leinster on at 3 so might have lunch and watch it in the clubhouse. Might head into Clonmany

    Sunday - Northwest - E30 I think
    Teeing off at 10:30. This is in Buncrana so will be on the way home. Never heard of it until recently

    Hopefully get some R2D in also. Any good spot to stop off for breakfast on the way up?
    We've got a driver so can head into nearby towns at night if there's a good pub?

    Around ballyliffin is pretty quite. Food is good in the club house but when we have been there wehave been the only people one the local bars.
    Maybe Derry for the night out it was mid week when we were there.
