Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

An organisation I work for are looking to purchase an ID card printer so we can print our own membership cards. What would you recommend?

http://cardlogic.ie has lots of products, but thought I'd ask here first for some feedback.

Ideally looking for something that prints great quality both sides and doesn't cost too much to run.

    Thanks

looking at choices and in general id say Evolis Dualys Card Printer,or zebra models seem most trusted and 3y warranty. Then another 50-100e per 100/200 cards or so for ink ribbons http://www.idcardgroup.com/ribbons/evoliscolor and around 50e for 100 plastics depending on what your needs would be magnetic strip ,extras/readers.

depending on customer base/business-it might be cheaper to do pics and get them done in bulk,or per contract basis,as cost for starting seems around 2k at minimum.

Thanks for that info, you're very good :)

What we've done is, found this website onlineprinters.ie (no affiliation), ordered 100 cards printed full colour both sides, with a signature singing thing on the back. Same quality as a credit/debit card. Works out about about €105! and that's with 23% VAT + Free delivery from Germany included :D

If we sell 11 cards that's cost the whole purchase :D
