    Hi all

If anyone could steer me in the right direction i would really appreciate it.
    I drive a 2006 1.4 skoda Octavia

Has been a really great car to me since i became second owner in 2011

Just two weeks ago the **** started to hit the fan. Car has 150000 km on clocks.

Went to start car one morning and it would tick over for 2 seconds and cut out.I noticed instrument binical was dead as a dodo. plugged in cag com and suggested signal failure to cluster.

took it apart and cleaned then re-installed and up she flew.

    next serviced car..oil and filters.

    car going great.

that was until it shuddered on way home other night and exhaust control light came on. running really rough.

I plugged into mates vag com again and seen a coil pack had failed.
so replaced all four plugs and offending coil pack.

now problem is car is still running a little rough and exhaust control light still on.

Please can anyone advise. is it a case that the car needs to break in the new coil pack or am i still in trouble.

    Anyone? please.

Thanks a mill for any input that might help.

    cheers

    As in on diagnostics?

I havent been able to plug it into vag com since i changed coil pack and plugs.....i thought it would just be back to normal after doing the bit of work.

    cheers

Plug it in to VAGCOM again. Wouldnt be surprised if it was a faulty air mass sensor....
