Intrum Justicia back to AIB

    Hi all.

I had a loan with the AIB which I, for various reasons (none good enough!) stopped paying for a number of months. My debt was then passed onto IJ, and I have since been paying it regularly through them, for the last couple of years.

I occasionally receive statements showing my payments off my loan, which are from the AIB.

My question is, is there any way that I can bring my payments back to the AIB and no longer through IJ? Or have IJ purchased by debt? If that's the case why am I receiving statements from the AIB.

    Thanks.
