Redundancy Query?

I was made redundant by my employer on the 31st of July.My employer claimed inability to pay. I have applied through the department for my redundancy payment and have been informed I will receive it this week or next. My employer has now contacted to offer me a temp job initially with no guarantee beyond July of next year.…

I was made redundant by my employer on the 31st of July.My employer claimed inability to pay. I have applied through the department for my redundancy payment and have been informed I will receive it this week or next.

My employer has now contacted to offer me a temp job initially with no guarantee beyond July of next year.

The role will be a different one to the one I had previously.

If I accepted this will it effect the initial redundancy payment. Would I be liable to repay it?
