which tablet

Hi everyone
I'm looking for some help. I want to get my eight year a reasonable good tablet. I have picked out 2, the first one is a galaxy tab e and the second one is a levona tab A 10. He will be mostly watching videos and playing games. I'm sure I will be using for boards and Internet.
I've no idea which one is better than the other or if even any of them are any good.
which one would you recommend.

If it's for an 8 year old you won't worry about HD screen etc, so I'm recommending the £50 Kindle Fire - it's seemingly pretty robust too, so should withstand any childhood knocks and bumps.

Pricing is usually linked to that in Europe... I'm sure you'll get a deal on one there as well. This was in a general tech store, not a bargain basement.

While I'm happy to research products on Boards, i'm not so lazy that I won't seek out pricing myself... I recommended The N9, I'm sure the OP can check it out in the Irish market... no? So the post had some value.

Hi thanks for all your replies.
I have looked up tablets and prices but I'm am useless at figuring out if they are any good. I just don't want to waste my money on a bad tablet . I have seen in another thread that the amazon fire is going to be forty euro in argos on black Friday and it looks good. Any other recommendations.

Just saw an article in my news feed for an Agros price drop in the UK to 149stg

Cheapest they have it in the Irish store is 209e. But I'm sure the price drop will hit here soon. Worth keeping an eye on.

149 sterling is 212 euro so I doubt it will drop below 209..

Argos Nexus 9 16Gb seems to be out of stock in argos.

I have nexus 7 2013 is good but broke after a couple months stuck on bootloader.

At the moment I have 2 Lenovo S8 50 they run really smooth all the games and can be bought for 150€. Battery life is OK if you just ready on it or watch Youtube but if you do play games Hungry Shark for example the battery will be gone in 2h30m .
