Should I move back to Eircom?

I was with eircom for a year and moved to sky 9 days ago, rarely an issue with eircom but in the last 9 days I've had 3 separate times with no BB, each a few hours long.
Reported it to sky, said they were sending too much "capacity" (?) down the line and dialed it back, said it would take a day to settle, few days later same thing again but I wasn't able to phone sky and report it, (baby playing up).
    Really thinking if switching back.
I know it's the same infrastructure but could being with sky make a difference if they have more sky customers in my area compared to eircom, the drop outs have been happening on the weekends so is it due to more people being on line over the weekend?

Be careful , your cooling off period is from ordering not installation.

Seems particularly odd; what was the reason of you moving from Eircom to Sky? Miniscule it seems, I don't see the harm. There's no point being with a ISP that is causing a lot of issues. Eircom, or now known as ''eir'', is reliable. We've been with them ever since we moved to Mullingar in '01 and we've had little or no problems; besides our ping issues but that was fixed with eFibre.

I only moved because sky had an offer of €35pm and my deal with Eircom had ended and was back up to €50pm.
I can't really understand, I had sky a couple of years ago without problem, I just move when a better deal is offered.
Could user ratios be different from one provider to another or does it not mater since its the same infrastructure?

Ah, that's understandable. Shouldn't matter though, Sky should be supplying a reliable service, especially if they want to gain more people. We only have Sky for the television Sky+HD and Sky Go.
