    Hi,

I'm in the market for a used car. My budget is around 40-45k. If i see one that's 4 or 5k over budget, should i wait till January? Or do the prices not drop till March/April when demand slows?

    Cheers.

Used car prices don't magically drop on 1st January, prices tend to drop about this time of year in order to make room for trade-ins against brand new cars come January. The next price drop is usually around April. As the A7 is a low supply niche model though the normal rules may not apply.

I'd see what sort of money you are talking about now and if you have time on your hands might be worth waiting until around March or April.
