    Isn't that just a modified Diesel? Sorry compression ignition engine.

    I'm sure it would also be useful in fixed wing GA aircraft.

    Sure is, after Airbus took over Eurocopter it became the H120.

    It has been part of the EADS company group since 2000 or thereabouts.

    Airbus Group is basically EADS renamed with some shuffling of defense companies and the renaming of Eurocopter to Airbus Helicopters.

    I had just gotten used to the EC range replacing the AS range and even the old BO range and now they are renaming them again.
