ive floated with sand and cement a few times and rubbed up with a sponge and made a nice job. Ive had experience working with plasterers for a few years so know enough to throw on myself but ive never did napping. Ive just recently bought a house with a garage and the house is napped but the garage needs plastered and im going to do it myself.

What i want to know is, isnt the mix 1 cement,1lime and 3 sand. i float the wall the sameway as a sponged wall, rub it up the same way and when its time to nap, i throw little amount of water on it, rub the fat up with my napper and lightly pull it to create a napped texture.

Anything else i need to know
