What's your favourite woodwork channel on YouTube, if you have one.

I like Mattias Wandel, he makes very watchable videos with great ideas and does not spend a fortune on materials or tools. Has anyone made any of his tools from the plans he does?

For more traditional approach I enjoy Paul Sellers, although I watch them at 1.25 or 1.5 speed as the video pace is usually very slow.

So do you watch anyone regularly online.

Paul Sellers if you have any interest in hand tools. The man is absolutely gifted at what he does and he presents videos that are exceptionally well made. All though maybe not for you if you are short on time, he can spend an hour going through one joint.... :)

@delaney001, yes I mentioned Paul Sellers in my original post, I agree he is a master and I have watched all his joint videos.

This guy fairly well zips through a lot of techniques and tool reviews.I love his Festool collection and the traffic passing outside his garage.!

I like both Mathias Wandel and Paul Sellers, the latter being especially useful to someone that's entirely self-taught like myself. From time to time I've seen some interesting videos from American woodworkers but I don't bother so much with them anymore as their workshops seem to me to be out of reach of the average woodworker with their acres of space, plethora of machines and fancy dan extraction systems etc. I like the no-nonsense approach of the other two mentioned- you can do a lot with basic tools once you've worked on the skills needed to use them.

Jay Bates, no nonsense, videos are well done: https://www.youtube.com/user/Jayscustomcreations

Frank Howarth, his videos are art: https://www.youtube.com/user/urbanTrash

@Laugh, yes enjoy Jay Bates too and your right about Frank Howarth, his videos are great, one I was watching last night had 1400 likes and 0 dislikes - must be a record. Did you see the CNC beast he is building, look forward to see what he does with that.... and his stop motion videos are brilliant too.

Paul Sellers is the man, I love his work! If you're into trad stuff check out The English Woodworker, The Renaissance Wood Worker and Wood and Shop. After Paul Sellers, The English Woodworker is my favourite but the other two are very good as well!

For power tool fans, you've already mentioned Jay Bates and Matthias Wandel (fans of Matthias should check out Izzy Swan also) who are both excellent. Another favourite is mine is The Wood Whisper and Jon Peters is very good as well!

Jords Woodshop and John Heisz should be mentioned also. Steve Ramsey if you can tolerate in constant inane laughing. There's loads more I watch but can't remember em now!

I have lost too many hours watching videos from some of the suggestions. YouTube is really a great resource. Looking forward to Frank Howarth's CNC build part 4, it's like waiting for the next episode of TV programs years ago!
