my fiesta failed the nct on damaged or broken suspension springs and it needs a bit of rust removed and fixed/welded on the rear arch.. then last week the cat fell off just at the part the tube goes into the cat (that area had rusted). So I presume a full second hand exhaust will be needed? any idea what we are talking for…

Sounds like time to cut your losses and get something a bit up the years or you will just end up throwing more money at it.
