Would anybody know anything about this, I had an interview last Friday for the position of Retail Assistant in Penneys in O Connell Street, I was told at the end of the interview that I would find out if I got the job or not but a week later and I have heard nothing.

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about how long it takes them to get back to people usually. Right now I am pretty sure I didn't get the job but I was told they would contact me either way so I would have liked to see if I could get some pointers of what I did wrong.
    Thanks.

    Thanks.

I had an interview for Galway Eyre Square on Friday 13th November. They got back to me on Monday 16th November to say I was successful. I'd imangine because its such a big store up there that they had loads of applications and interviews to carry. Give it time but keeping looking for other work at the same time.

I have been working in penneys swords for a month now and the entire process was quick.

I applied on a Monday, got called for an interview Thursday. I had the interview Saturday, got the job Wednesday had induction Saturday and started work Sunday.

Two weeks in total. If you get it, enjoy it. There a great play to work for, managers are so nice. The staff are so easy to get on with and they pay well.
