Try Trever in Grange Fuels. He was better than anyone else in Sligo for oil about a month ago.

    Have to top up again.

Was looking at these guys but, I heard a nasty rumor that they were watering down their oil, or using dies, laundered/dodgy oil basically, or something....

    Anyone privy to the this?

I got some oil of M and K fuels.

I wasn't there when they delivered it though, just left the money out for them.

    Asked them for 500 liters.

Any chance they could just have put in 450 liters and bounced?

I'm always super cautious about these things but, had a pressing appointment at the time of delivery.

Depends on the docket he left for you. Does it give a reading from xxxxxx to xxxxxx.? Most lorries are now fitted with connected-up computers the record the dispensed quantity. This is to negate the chances of the driver fiddling the quantity.

    He didn't leave a docket.

I got home and checked and found it wasn't there, so rang and asked that they drop it in as soon as.

rememberedM&K is owner operated so less likliehood of any dodgy dealings. I've been getting oil off them now for 2/3 years and have never had any reason to distrust them.
They always leave the print-out that all trucks have to have.

Edit: Just remembered a couple of years ago I ordered 1000ltrs to completely fill the tank as the price was going up.
Came home to find the tank full and a docket for 920ltrs. Ideal opportunity to scam 80ltrs off me so I'd say say you have noyhing to worry about.
    No connection to them BTW.
