Berlingo Wipers/Lights/Indicators issue

    Hello all,

Just finished doing a few bits to the van (diesel leak at fuel stop solenoid, radio not working) and when I start it up, the wipers and indicators aren't working at all. The hazards are working but there's no ticking. Also, the dipped lights come on with the ignition but the stalks aren't doing anything. This would lead me to believe that the ignition or a relay is at fault, but I can't see anything obvious.

    Any ideas? Van is a 05 1.9.

    Thanks,
    Sean

It could be the Comm2000. Check the link below.

Common enough for PSA modules to become corrupted if the battery is disconnected and reconected without following a specific procedure. This can cause similar symptons to what you are describing. To cure it, try disconnecting the unit wiper module under the steering cowl, then follow the procedure to awaken all the car modules from sleep mode. I think it involves turning on your sidelights, making sure your car doors are all closed etc, to prevent a massive voltage spike corrupting the modules. Im certain if you google it you'll find the exact procedure.

4th attempt at a bsi reset cured it.
