Photo Challenge 169: Black and White

13-11-2015 10:53pm#1Ok, the theme for this challenge is ‘Black and White’.
There is no restriction as to the subject of the photos to be submitted–they can be portraits, landscapes, urban settings, nature, sports, still life… whatever you want, as long as they are in Black and White.
Just a couple of ( mediocre)examples.
Rules:
-The Closing Date is just over 2 weeks from now - that is Saturday 28th November at 8pm.
-Only photos taken with this challenge in mind qualify. Therefore, the photo must be taken between 10pm 13/11/2015 and 8pm on 28/11/2015 and so no 'old ' photos are to be used.
-The photo must be taken by the person submitting it.
-Only one photo per post, but submit as many posts as you like.
-The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time.

Yes - they are acceptable once the original photo was taken within the time-span outlined in the Rules above

And so concludes another challenge..thanks indeed to all who entered and voted.
The winner with this great shot is Loki98
However, Loki98 was in touch with me a couple of days ago to say that in the event of him winning he would not be in a position to set the next challenge as he only going to have very uncertain/intermittent access to the internet for a number of days.
He asked that the entrant who finished second, set the next challenge.
And it was Jaansu who was runner-up with his very fine photo ‘Calm above the Clouds’.
(Unfortunately, I don’t know how to ‘quote’ 2 photos in the one post)
