just get the bell fella.Sometimes its hard to see a dog on point in rushes. But when you hear the bell stop you will know where the dog is.

Thing I don't like about the bell is its constant rattling at lease with beeper u cud set it to just beep wen the dog points.

Use a Garmin Astro 220 with DC30 collars myself, never to lose a dog pointing again. Best bit of hunting kit I ever bought.

fairly expensive alright, bought it second hand from america, newer versions available now I think, gamin alpha I think its called. Tells you what direction the dog is, how far away and if he is running or pointing.I Run some hounds for foxes and use it with these aswell. Ideal if your hunting woodland or heavy cover for woodcock, gives exact location of a dog on point.

Have one only one of my dogs would wear it have 2 red setters and one English setter one of the reds had no problem the other 2 would not leave heel when it was on. It is some piece of work I had mine on bleep when the dog was ranging and it went to the scream of a hawk when the dog was pointing they say the hawk noise would make the bird sit longer,i don't know about that one ,if you are hunting pheasants early in the season great job but as the season goes on the birds will run ahead of the dog when they hear the bleeping of the collar found it very good for woodcock in heavy cover or big woodland areas.Mine was made by sport dog got it from America.

I use a Marshall radio collar which bleeps when the dog is on point, it is also a tracking collar and has flashing LCD lights which is very handy late in the day.
