    Anyone know of good central reasonably cheap good hostel/2/3* hotel in Bratislava, Ljubiljana, and Lake Bled?

    We stayed in hostel margerat in bled. They really looked after us. More a b&b than hostel. Great food, think its one of the better restaurants in bled. done our laundry while we were out too. Its a little out bled. Maybe 15 minute walk to the lake. There's a local bus though
    In lubjana we stayed in hostel tresor. Very central, modern and clean.
    Bratislava we stayed in a 4* hotel which I can't remember the name of right now. A bit out of town but that was to accommodate a concert I was going to so can't help ye there.

    I usually stay at the Crowne Plaza in Bratislava, which is a good location, but €125 per night. They may do weekend deals though.

    The park inn is a lot cheaper and in a good location, that might be worth a try.

    When I'm there, I always go to www.slovakpub.sk it sells good food and good beer and is very very cheap.
